The main office of Waterstromen is located in Lochem. Currently, Waterstromen operates plants in Olburgen, Lichtenvoorde, Lomm, Etten, Wijster and Duiven, among others, with a team of approximately 30 employees. Founded in 1998 as a commercial subsidiary of Waterschap Rijn IJssel, Waterstromen is now active throughout the Netherlands.
Waterstromen has been operating water purification and residual stream processing plants at several locations for many years. Here, Waterstromen is particularly specialized in industrial companies with high water and energy consumption, such as the potato processing and paper industry and tanneries.
Our goal is to purify water and residual streams as sustainably as possible. The first step is to reduce water consumption and waste or organic residues. Then, by applying innovative technologies, energy, water and raw materials can be recovered. Waterstromen has the necessary knowledge and expertise to come up with an optimal solution. Waterstromen can take over the entire process or provide on-site expertise or skilled manpower.
